The Octavius is a beautiful subtle greyed lilac, with washes of greyed lavender and pink, - pale with subtle tonal variegation. If you put it with bright colours it will be demure and behave a bit like a grubby grey. By itself or with lighter colours, the purple tones will be more apparent.
These skeins are all from the same lot - due to the number of dye processes, they can all look quite different! For most even results, please alternate skeins :)
Hesperus is a fuzzy blend of kid mohair bound with silk - perfect for adding a bit of fluff to your projects.
Excellent on its own for light as air accessories, or as a carry-along yarn.
Fibre content: 70% mohair/ 30% silk (NOT superwash)
Yardage: 420 metres / 460 yards
Recommended knitting needle size: 2.25 – 4.00 mm for garments and accessories
Wash carefully by hand in cool water with a few drops of clear unscented dish washing liquid (if needed). Dry flat in shade. Yarn may shed initially, as with most mohair blends.
I try hard to take photos that accurately represent the colour of the yarn, but please note that screens all show colour a little differently. If you have questions about colours, please ask, and I will do my best to describe them for you!
