Confluence is a variegated green - it's got bluer, tealer, golden, and purplier bits... like the meeting of warmer and cooler seas.
Due to the number of processes involved in making this colour, each batch, and every skein within a batch is very different. We recommend alternating skeins for a more even result.
(In fact, we always recommend alternating, but with these more variegated ones, it's even more important.)
**This is a very saturated colourway. I have washed it and the rinse water is clear. However, as water and washing method may vary, if you're planning on using with a lighter colour, I would recommend knitting a small test swatch with all the colours you're using, and wash and block in the usual way. Cold water and a couple of drops of dishwashing liquid is a good bet!
Hesperus is a fuzzy blend of kid mohair bound with silk - perfect for adding a bit of fluff to your projects.
Excellent on its own for light as air accessories, or as a carry-along yarn.
Fibre content: 70% mohair/ 30% silk (NOT superwash)
Yardage: 420 metres / 460 yards
Recommended knitting needle size: 2.25 – 4.00 mm for garments and accessories
Wash carefully by hand in cool water with a few drops of clear unscented dish washing liquid (if needed). Dry flat in shade. Yarn may shed initially, as with most mohair blends.
I try hard to take photos that accurately represent the colour of the yarn, but please note that screens all show colour a little differently. If you have questions about colours, please ask, and I will do my best to describe them for you!
