Antique Land's End is a muted mid-murky brown toned khaki/grey sort of colour with lots of variegation in greens, blues, and gold, but all blended seamless together. It's like an extremely pleasing sort of bog. It's immensely difficult to describe.
Due to the number of processes involved, each batch, and every skein within a batch is very different. We recommend alternating skeins for a more even result.
(In fact, we always recommend alternating, but with these more variegated ones, it's even more important.)
Matt and squashy, this is a singles spun yarn, that knits at a 4ply gauge. It's perfect for accessories and garments (not socks!!). (This base may look a little kinky in the skein, rest assured it lies flat and smooth when knitted up!)
Fibre content: 100% superwash merino
Yardage: 366 metres / 400 yards
Recommended knitting needle size: 2.25 – 4.00 mm for garments and accessories
Wash carefully by hand in cool water with a few drops of clear unscented dish washing liquid (if needed). Dry flat in shade.
I try hard to take photos that accurately represent the colour of the yarn, but please note that screens all show colour a little differently. If you have questions about colours, please ask, and I will do my best to describe them for you!
