Megalodon is a very saturated red. The red leans ever so slightly more to orange than to blue. But it's a pretty true bright mid red. Like a cross between a fire-engine and a tomato.
Please read the washing directions below. I've washed this with pale yarn and it was stable - everyone's water chemistry and washing technique is different do please follow the instructions!!!!!!
(This is a very saturated colourway. I have washed it and the rinse water is clear. If you are planning to knit this with a light colour, I would recommend knitting a small test swatch with all the colours you're using, and wash and block in the usual way. Cold water and a couple of drops of dishwashing liquid is a good bet! Soak for the least amount of time you can.)
Shiny and silky, starboard is a single ply yarn, perfect for luxurious accessories. (Starboard may look a little kinky in the skein, rest assured it lies flat and smooth when knitted up!)
Fibre content: 70% superwash merino / 30% silk
Yardage: 400 metres / 438 yards
Recommended knitting needle size: 2.25 – 4.00 mm for garments and accessories
Wash carefully by hand in cool water with a few drops of clear unscented dish washing liquid (if needed). Dry flat in shade.
I try hard to take photos that accurately represent the colour of the yarn, but please note that screens all show colour a little differently. If you have questions about colours, please ask, and I will do my best to describe them for you!
