Rare and Exotic Beast: The Double Octavius Antique - Port DK

Regular price $35.00

Tax included.

The Double Octavius Antique is a beautiful subtle greyed lilac, with washes of greyed green, pink, and sand - pale with tonal variegation. If you put it with bright colours it will be demure and behave a bit like a grubby purpler grey. By itself or with lighter colours, the complexity of the colourway will be more apparent.

These skeins are all from the same batch - but due to the number of processes they are all quite different. I recommend alternating skeins if you desire a more even result.

Port DK is smooth and plump – a high-twist four ply construction. It’s great for garments and accessories, and showcasing cables! Port DK gets extra soft and squashy after it has had a bath. DHY recommends swatching, and alternating skeins when knitting a larger item. (Colour may vary from skein to skein, even in the same batch.)
