This OOAK colour is a glowing rusty sort of coppery rust, with tonal variegation!
(This is a very saturated colourway. I have washed it and the rinse water is clear. However, as water and washing method may vary, if you're planning on using with a lighter colour, I would recommend knitting a small test swatch with all the colours you're using, and wash and block in the usual way. Cold water and a couple of drops of dishwashing liquid is a good bet!)
This batch is more variegated than I usually dye - we recommend alternating skeins when knitting a larger item. (Colour may vary from skein to skein, even in the same batch.)
Port DK is smooth and plump – a high-twist four ply construction. It’s great for garments and accessories, and showcasing cables! Port DK gets extra soft and squashy after it has had a bath.
