All of these skeins were in the same pot - there are a LOT of layers of dye - and they are more different from each other than I'd really prefer. You will need to alternate skeins to achieve an even result on a large project - it's definitely not optional with this one. Or just get one skein for a hat.
This non-repeatable colourway is a tonally variegated sort steel grey, with a fair bit of tonal variegation. It reads slightly more towards slightly blue than purple or brown.

Wash carefully by hand in cold water with a few drops of clear unscented dishwashing liquid (if needed). Dry flat in shade.
