This OOAK colour is a light, tonally variegated duck egg leaning green. It has Bits! In rusty mustard!
Due to the number of processes, all the skeins in this batch are different! We strongly recommend alternating for a more even result.
Urchin is smooth and plump – a softly spun three ply construction. The lurex is spun in as an extra ply, (different from the stellina yarns available). It’s great for garments and accessories. While it has nylon content, I'm not yet sure about its durability for socks. As soon as I have more information, I'll update here!
I have a much worn item in this yarn, I recently depilled it successfully. I used a Gleener - which you can find online, and it looks like new, and did no damage to the lurex. :)
(It wasn't very pilly, but it's soft wool, so there will be a few occasionally!)
